Dependencies

Dependencies record the task that must finish before another task can proceed.

Section titled “Task-level links”

Under Dependencies, choose a predecessor and select Add. The predecessor appears with its relationship type, currently finish_to_start, and a remove action. The CareArc safety dashboard depends on completion of clinician red-team scenarios.

Board-level dependency view

The Dependencies view includes Total Dependencies, Blocked Chains, At Risk, and Healthy counters. Its sidebar searches dependency tasks; the canvas offers Zoom In, Zoom Out, and Fit to Screen with Healthy, At Risk, and Blocked legend states.

A finish-to-start link can adjust the successor’s start date to respect the predecessor. Check Gantt after adding or removing a dependency.
