Trees

Trees places a generated tree. Each is drawn rather than a photograph, so it scales cleanly and takes the brand’s colours.

Opening it

Click Trees in the tool rail. The panel opens beside the rail; clicking the button again closes it.

Unlike the seven canvas tools, the panels do respond to a click — the rail’s click problem affects only the tools above the divider. Troubleshooting has the detail.

Eight species: Oak, Maple, Willow, Acacia, Pine, Palm, Birch, and Bonsai.

Pick by silhouette rather than by name. At the size a tree usually appears in a layout, the outline is all that reads — a palm and a pine are unmistakable, an oak and a maple are not.
