Boards, columns, and workflow
A board is the working view of a set of related tasks. Columns represent workflow states, while the task fields explain urgency, category, progress, and timing.
Columns are handoffs
Section titled “Columns are handoffs”Backlog, To Do, In Progress, Review, and Done describe where a task sits in the team’s process. A column count shows how many visible tasks are in that state. Capacity indicators appear on configured columns, such as In Progress 3/5 and Review 2/3 in CareArc Launch Readiness.
Cards are summaries
Section titled “Cards are summaries”Cards show the subject, colored label bars, progress, priority, status, due date, and comment count when discussion exists. Open a card when the summary is not enough.
Completed tasks are a visibility choice
Section titled “Completed tasks are a visibility choice”Completed tasks can remain on the board as history while the Completed toggle keeps the default view focused on active work. The same launch board is then useful while the work is running and again in a retrospective review.
