Use reference components
Reference components collect, summarize, or navigate the rest of the document. They live in the Reference category of the component library.

Table of contents
Section titled “Table of contents”Insert a Table of Contents component to render an auto-updating list of headings and nested sections. It reflects the current outline and updates as headings or nest levels change.
Glossary and definitions
Section titled “Glossary and definitions”Use the Glossary component to define terms used across the document. Add terms and descriptions; the component formats them as a definition list.
Use the Definitions component for numbered definitions, useful in legal or scientific documents where terms must be cited by number.
Use Acronyms to maintain a table of abbreviations and their full expansions.
Key-Value List
Section titled “Key-Value List”The Key-Value List component formats metadata as a clean list of pairs. Use it for document metadata, project facts, or system attributes.
Document Info
Section titled “Document Info”Insert Document Info to display the document title, description, author, version, and status directly on the canvas.
Version History block
Section titled “Version History block”The Version History reference component renders the saved checkpoints and published versions as a readable table inside the document. It is not the same as the toolbar’s Version History panel, because this one is content that appears in exports.
What reference blocks depend on
Section titled “What reference blocks depend on”Reference blocks depend on a clean structure, so Organize and navigate with the outline is worth reading next. When the document is finished, Export a document hands it over as PDF, Word, or Markdown.
