Assignees
Assigned To identifies the person or resource responsible for the next action.
Picker sources
Section titled “Picker sources”Search the Assigned To picker for an existing person. Add new person opens three sources:
- Platform User searches people who already have an account.
- Resource Pool selects a managed resource.
- External Contact records a client, vendor, partner, consultant, stakeholder, or other contact with name and optional email.
Downstream use
Section titled “Downstream use”Assignments appear on task cards and List rows when available. Grouping by Assignee reorganizes Board view. Workload uses assigned tasks to calculate team-member, capacity, and overload summaries.
Use a single accountable assignee for the next action; put supporting people in the description or comments when the board does not require shared ownership.
