Widget catalogue

There are forty-eight widget types in ten groups. Six of them appear only in paginated dashboards, so a fit or scroll dashboard offers forty-two.

Sizes are the width and height in pixels a widget gets when you drop it. You can resize any of them afterwards.

Widget Default size
Report Title 400 × 40
Page Number 200 × 24
Current Date 200 × 24
Band 600 × 60
Repeating Region 600 × 100
Watermark 400 × 200

Needing any of these is the main reason to choose paginated mode. Since the mode cannot be changed later, it is a decision to make when you create the dashboard.

Two older types — marketing metrics and campaign list — still draw on dashboards that already contain them, but they no longer appear in the library, so they cannot be added to anything new. They are also unavailable in paginated mode: a paginated dashboard containing one will not draw it.

The defaults are starting points, and several are too small to read comfortably once real data is in them. A pie chart at its default 300 × 300 has no room for a legend beside the pie, and a bar chart at 400 wide runs its category labels together. Arrange the canvas gives sizes that work.
