Clarinet
Double-click empty space on the timeline to open the instrument picker, then choose 🎵 Clarinet.
The Clarinet is the second staff sequencer. It works exactly as the Saxophone does, with a wider range and its own style set.

Range and styles
Section titled “Range and styles”The range runs E3 to C6 — wider than the saxophone at both ends — with three styles.
| Style | Character |
|---|---|
| Classical | Even tone, orchestral phrasing |
| Jazz | Swung and looser |
| Klezmer | Bent notes, wide vibrato, the characteristic wail |
Writing a line
Section titled “Writing a line”Place notes on the staff, set Steps to 8, 16, or 32, and use Play or Loop to audition. Clear starts again and Add to Timeline commits it.
Klezmer is worth hearing even on a line you did not write for it. The articulation is distinctive enough that it often suggests a different melody than the one you started with.
Related
Section titled “Related”Saxophone is the other staff woodwind. Woodwind is played live instead of written.
